Linus Quilts

Linus quilts are very special. During the 2012 Exhibition of Flowers and Quilts, the Langford Log Cabin Quilters displayed a total of 29 Linus Quilts, specialy made by group members to be donated to Project Linus UK for childrens wards in local hospitals.

Project Linus UK began in 2000, collecting and distributiing quilts made by individuals and groups throughout the UK. In 2012 Project Linus UK delivered a total of 22,189 Linus quilts to childrens wards, that's almost 2000 every month!

Linus Quilts - 19th July 2013

Sue Minards, the area co-ordinator for Linus recently came to our group meeting on 19th July and collected a total of 22 quilts from the group. She was extremely pleased with them and assured us that they would all be very welcome.

Secret Garden Quilting & Linus Quilts - 21st June 2013

Lucy from Secret Garden Quilting paid us a visit with her Pop-up shop and was very pleased to judge the Linus Quilts for us.

She has three sons all in the age range which we suggested for the quilts so she was able to make her decision based on knowing which quilts her sons would like.

Linus Quilts - July 2015

On Friday July 3rd, Sue Minards, the Linus representative, came along to meet with us all and to collect the 32 quilts that had been made. Sue enjoyed meeting with you all once again and was delighted to receive so many quilts.
